Kamkor, you are correct. It is the "budget" or entry level carb compliant aero from Smart Truck.
Kamkor Thanks this. -
I'm glad they are getting a new system. I'm tired of having to fight the skirt to fuel the trailer, or zip tie it back to those metal hangers.
My previous company had those wings like Prime has on their doors. It wasn't too long after they installed them that ####### were finding a way to knock them off.Kamkor Thanks this. -

So this why truck stop stalls are always messy:

I don't remember who posted about the airline trick when sliding stubborn tandems (I think it was @Kamkor), but it came in handy this evening.
Driver was having trouble sliding her tandems back at my second pickup. It would start to slide and then the tires would roll and stop the slide. Showed her that trick with the airlines and it worked. The tandems slide with no issue.Kamkor Thanks this. -
Remind us of the trick

You cross the airlines on the trailer (Red to service on trailer). Then you supply air to the trailer, which engages the service brakes on the trailer, giving some extra stopping help to the parking brakes.
A fun joke to play on someone (Crossing the lines) becomes a tool on stubborn tandems.Steel Tiger, 88 Alpha and MachoCyclone Thank this. -
Of course, after this, you take the trailer to get fixed because obviously something is wrong if the parking brakes aren't holding...but at least you can slide the tandems so you can get there.
CannonballAA Thanks this.
