2010 cascadia w/DD15 Active code problem

Company driver - but after googling "active fault codes ddec15" I remember finding a PDF with a list of codes - that was on a 2011.

Took a bit of searching.

I also remember our outside temp gauge going nutty at times.

Then it kept dropping injectors at 400k miles, injectors/harnesses replaced 6 times in 3 months.

 

That first one is an erratic voltage to the engine ECM. It could be as simple as the wire between the battery and ECM. I would start with the battery connection. It might be corroded.

The rest indicate the DPF filter has reached the end of it's service life and needs replaced and reset by a shop.

I'm not sure about the outside temp gauge. Maybe someone else will post. I'm pretty sure that sensor is on your intake pipe right before the air cleaner. Maybe it's defective?

Double check the wiring harness near where he was working on the oil tube. Maybe he stretched a wire loose from a connector or something?

 

engine harnesses are a issue with early cascadias if you have a stumble or shut down off and on it causes dpf to plug .check big plug on ecm which is near oil tube to make sure its clean and not corroded . outside air temp sensor is on right side behind front bumper which can also air conditioning to quit when not working or unplugged

 

522116 ambient air temp sensor just had it fixed

 

I have a check engine light on says Engine 000 SPN000247
Total ENG Hrs. 14 anybody know what this is ????? Thanksss
