Go to Jonestown on a Thursday. They'll tell you that you *might* get in on Monday; probably Tuesday.

There's a reason that the Chambersburg Target fleet was sent 45 miles to Martinsburg, even though half of them drive within two miles of Jonestown on a daily basis.

Called syracuse on a Wednesday was told maybe tuesday but probably more like Friday ended up getting it done at johnstown walmart that Sunday and they gave me a spare truck. If you say you don't have to wait ridiculous amount of time for b service your either dedicated or an owner op getting it done at ta. I actually use to pay to get mine done at the ta before i went dedicated. Reason being the 4 days of lost pay was way more than what it cost for b service and they would reimburse about 50 % of the time

 

It's strange how some of us have more problems than others. I don't think I've ever been more than 2 days for a b service.

Maybe I've just been in the right places at the right times.

 

If you're an O/O, why would you go to a company shop to have ANYTHING done to your truck?

Swift has some good mechanics. I get all my be service done at Swift shops. Easy easy in and out in an hour in Denver about $200 bucks. $340 at TA. To be honest I trust Swift mechanics way more than I do the drug addicts at TA.

 

If the truck is having problems it might make sense to take it to the company shop so they can change the oil then hope they forget to put oil back in and start it up then they owe you a new truck lol, problems with old truck solved. lol
