Magnum ltd - fargo, nd

Got To Monticelllo UT about 0530 took about a 7 hour nap and then walked around town checkon out Main St. Kind of reminded me where I grew up. Lots of mom and pop shops kids running around playing

 

That whole area is some of the most beautiful parts of the country... I'm gonna kinda miss going out there...until it snows like a son-of-a-witch..

 

S/N I hate when people eavesdrop on a convo that has nothing to do with them and then get offended and run off tell.
I'm bitter and haven't had my coffee yet.

......and that's why I say "hi" and "bye" to most of my fellow drivers in the terminals. I'm sure most of yall fine people but a lot of @$$oles too. I got no time to figure out who is who.

 

Isn't it amazing how the closer ya' get to turning in the keys, the brighter the day seems...even though it is raining in Fargo and the yard is a mess...still...

Oh, and if anyone here is picking up a Quincy WA load off the Fargo yard later...you're welcome. I'm pre-loading it for ya', and I found a leaking tire that I am having the shop change out....and now it's due for a software update...

 

Here is the view at Simplot in Grand Forks this a.m. they had hoses running in a front dock door...

Found out they had a fire (no duh) they couldn't get in the building until 9 a.m., so they are 4ish hours behind

 

Ah come on, I enjoy listening to drivers tell stories about how they put dispatch in their place and telling everyone how they won't drive here and won't go there...and then say how they drive 3,500 miles every week.

All I need is popcorn

 

The only uncertainty about my travels to Nashville is the 2nd leg of my journey...



Hope my wife doesn't watch the weather channel...she paces the floor whenever I have to get on an airplane...she'd have to take an extra xanax if she saw that I was going to be flying into a thunderstorm area.

 

Did we see Magnum's custom new convertable trailer?



Guess someone forgot that trailers are 13' 6" high.

 

I guess a huge tornado crossed the road about 1/4 mile from us in Nebraska City a week or two ago. Bunch of guys talking about it at the coffee counter in the morning.
