Good choice. Hated reefer and not fond of pulling boxes
You also helped remind me to call the recruiter I'm working with thanks
RookieTrucker93 Thanks this. -
Yes I researched reefer:/ Annoying lol
Bud A. and Boattlebot Thank this. -
It wasn't to bad in between shipper and reciver couldent sleep if the reefer was on start stop but continuous wasn't bad. It's the shippers and recivers that make reefer horrifically horrible.DoubleO7 and RookieTrucker93 Thank this.

You will make more money in flatbed I believe. Re-doing 2 weeks of training just means you will be that much ahead of other students. In my opinion how ever you get your first year done, is ok. Getting 1 year OTR seems to be what you need to get the company you really want.

Crete carriers. $.46 cpm dry van and $49 cpm refrigerated. All practical miles. Pet policy for cat or dog up to 60 lbs., great company. I am an otr driver with them and I love it. Rental car or airplane to orientation. Look me up.on fb if you have more questions. Diana Busacca. Good luck.DoubleO7 Thanks this.

Happy for ya, man. That's def the right decision..... hope they can get you back out soon! Oh well about the 2 weeks; Flatbed training is a little more comprehensive anyway, and I'd bet dollars to donuts you'll get a trainer that gives a rat's butt this time. Those FB guys "can't" dik around, ya know?
Keep us posted; just read that @Boattlebot is finally getting on with a FlatBed company too. YAY!~ You guys are young enough... Me & @Bud A. .... we gotta watch our "tickers" nowadays.... Tanks works for us! Ya never know, maybe THAT's even something you could look into with some experience under your belt, should you not care for flats~!
Update when ya can~!
TomcatBud A. Thanks this. -
One thing I will say about Crete is that they seem to have a lot of long term drivers, like 7 years or more.

Very true; but the O/P had some issues from the past, that I'm kinda thinking Triple-C won't overlook. That's why they have that kind of tenure like that..... not real easy to get on with. A year or 2 in with Western will likely open MANY doors for the O/P. Way more than TransAm ~!DoubleO7 Thanks this.
