I completed orientation last Friday started pulling loads this week. I learned a few hard lessons about procrastinating when choosing from the load board. You snooze, you lose. Lol. Today was one of those days that every "great" paying load was already booked when I called. SMH. After I chose an "okay" load, a few agents called and offered better loads.![]()

I'm buying a truck soon and filled out the LS app last night.
What trailer will leave the best money trail? I used to haul stepdeck with Mercer. I'm thinking of going that route again, but this time with ramps/levelers or I could haul a LS trailer. -
Does LS do your IFTA, licensing, who pays for the plates/permits. Do they just take it all out of settlements?
-
Plates are $1700 per year and all permits are $200.
whoopNride Thanks this. -
Oh
@The Boss Lady hows LS going for you? Making money? -
Eh...okay so far, not spectacular it decent. I had a few good loads this week. I experienced my first bait and switch yesterday. I saw a short run posted $500 for 56 miles. I called to inquire about it, the agent put me on hold for a few minutes then says that the load was already booked. Then I saw the same load back on the board for $280. SMHDwardell662 Thanks this.
