You can succeed at Prime but don't for one second expect them to hold your hand. They will not and you will fail miserably if you don't know what your doing. I hear a lot about their walk away lease but I don't know about that. If it was a walk away lease then why do so many people walk away poorer than when they started and with ruined credit. READ THE FINE PRINT and if you don't understand it SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP. DO NOT ASK PRIME TO EXPLAIN IT FOR YOU. It's all right there in the contract but deciphering it is not possible for everybody. BOL

Walcrawler is great guy over at Primenet but he sugarcoats everything to sound like Prime is the answer to every ones dream trucking job. Dr Zebra is more level headed, knows his numbers to a tee and will give you some good basic advice.

I don't want them to hold my hand I just want them to pay me what I earn and quit laundering all my money. I am not new to trucking. I am however new to leasing and getting gouged...:biggrin_2554: They are the most unorganized goat rope that I ever stumbled into. (flatebed div anyway) Everything from the recruiter to everyone that I talked to nothing happened like they said it would. :biggrin_2554:

Well spread the word and save someone from living the same nightmare as you did. I'm a company driver and always will be. I am not bound to my company and have walked away twice. They talked me back in to coming back and did improve the areas that made me leave. That is why I would never lease, ever.

    Thanks for this info.

I sure can't agree with you about the two guys you mentioned. The try to bully people into believing what they want you to believe . To me they are company men who run a website for Prime and try to make everyone believe everything is a ok there. They're pleasant as long as you think like they want you to think. I can't help but believe they are somehow paid off by Prime to run that site.

Anyway, thanks again for what sounds like truthful info and not all that sugar coated mumbo jumbo. It's embarrassing to think they can talk like that about Prime, and they get away with it.

I wish more people like you would come here.

Regardless of where you go to work you have to do it your eyes WIDE OPEN.
And only believe 1/2 of what you read on the internet be it the GOOD or the BAD on any company.

I've been with Prime for 4 months now and everything is just fine. The more you work, the more you make. Plain and simple. And I'm not a recruiter or a Corp. Exec. ... Just a plain ole' trucker.

Ive been on the road the last few months and I have been able to read some of these posts, but unable to respond properly. My entire journey started with this website....

Ive been with Prime for 7 months. I was trained here and have no complaints.

I do have a problem with individuals who have no experience in trucking, who have stated their purpose here is to gather information to help them decide their training route, have opinions about Prime based on internet postings (which they are entitled to) but then spout advice to other individuals seeking information as if they know what they are talking about.

I have the opinion that anyone who is afraid to drive at night and looking for shortcuts and circumventing their training, will not make it in this business and will be a bitter individual at whatever company they end up working for.

To those who have worked for Prime and had problems: Im sorry things didnt work out for you, and yes, you are entitled to your opinions. I dont have a problem with your posts.

To those who had "friends" or heard from a "guy" about Prime: your opinions are based on second hand information and is really just gossip.

As to my experiences at Prime, I will post a new topic with details and leave it others to form their opinion.

So true most that FAIL at any company would FAIL at any company.

There is 1 at PRIME that was with SNI and all he had were $ problems , switched to PRIME and from what I have heard / read ( his posts ) nothing has really changed, while others did GREAT at SNI switched to PRIME and are still doing great.
