Was talking to a friend of mine today. He drives for Freymiller and he had a random driver come up to him and tell him that JCT was buying out Freymiller. I laughed and told him haven't heard anything like that and I don't think that would ever happen.

I dunno, doesent seem that far out of the realm of possibility. Its a small company, hauling the same that we do, and they are known to have financial problems, selling chunks of itself to AmeriTruck then AmeriTruck went down so they got it back...maybe they didn't learn their lesson and are still going down the bad financial road. And having a small satellite terminal in Oklahoma City wouldent be bad...

Just the Petro in Amarillo. The breakdown said they burned up some Motors and John refuses to use them now. I can believe that as he hates loves because they won't give the discount he wanted lol. Don't blame him though

According to VP of fleet sales for Loves, JCT didn't even try to negotiate with them.

You have to remember, the more volume they buy from one company, the bigger the discount. Rather than spread X gallons across two or more companies, JCT opted for just one. By doing that, they can comfortably hit the volume required to get the next tier of discounts. That last part was explained to me by Daryl himself.

Does JCT require you to fuel at only one brand? Or is it the driver's choice, since it's the driver's money? Or is the issue that JCT got a big discount with only one brand?

Reefer fuel only PFJ with a few exceptions setup already for certain areas. Driver is free to fuel truck wherever EFS is taken.

    Phantaztix Thanks this.

Just trying to glean as much info as possible. I've applied to JCT and gotten the call back. Just waiting on them to do whatever it is they do from there. How long does the process take anyways?
