My experience going into canada is different than most, i guess. I am a young guy so i always get stopped. Im talking truck searches, background checks, a million questions, the whole nine yards.
Every...single...time...
It was actually easier getting back in the usa, than going into canada.
I stopped going to canada last month. You can make the same money in the lower 48, and dont have to deal with cops who have an ego, and itching to write a ticket.
Tanker stuff for an experienced n00b; how's an automatic, Canada, etc...

My dedicated run comes out of Canada, but our Canadian drivers bring it down to me in Chicago. -

I just went to Ontario this week. I had no problems at the border either direction. I went during off hours so no waiting either.
Last year was the only other time I went up, and that was with a flatbed into Alberta. As mentioned, speed limits are higher in the west.
It's not something I want to do very often, but if it gets me a 2500 mile load like it did this time, then heck yeah I'll go.CaptainGoatYak Thanks this. -
