Oh, it was very effective. JCT didn't want to increase the price of the trucks, nor did they want to force onto drivers. It has and still is a driver option to put on at their own expense.

It would be kind of 6 one way half a dozen the other if we are going on that theory.
More fuel efficient the less in IFTA through expensive states...
Though I'm curious about what JCT will do seeing as fuel in California is about to go up nearly 40 cents on diesel taxes. Fuel purchasing there is going to be extremely prohibitive. But JCT will still have a ifta bill to eat when we go there with lower taxed fuel from out of state. -
I don't remember the last time I bought fuel in California. This load I'm on now, I had half a tank. The stupid fuel suggestion wanted me to get a 100 (which would have topped my tanks) in Barstow and then fill up again in Nebraska. I ignored it and drove from Colton to Nephi, UT where I got enough fuel to finish the load to North Platte.CannonballAA Thanks this.

Just hit "edit" on your post. If on mobile, you should see three lines next to the "xx" minutes ago. That's a drop down menu and you will see edit.
