That is not Schneiders problem. He was going what he could and if you guys were in that big of a hurry to get around him then it was at your own risk. If you can't see if the coast is clear then why chance it??? I ran US59 for years and no matter how many trucks I passed, or passed me. We all wound up at the next red light in the next town anyways. But sometimes passing somebody just makes drivers feel like they are really going somewhere I guess.

I hear ya. Its not 80 but if you hadn't heard, Texas is going to set most of the 70 mph interstates to 75. As it should be!

FWIW, This morning I ran 75 from Tonopah, AZ to the Cali state line. Passed a few governered trucks on my way, like I always do. When I hit Commiefornia I slowed down to 58, like I always do.. As usual, I got passed by those governed trucks but I usually end up getting the last laugh when its THEM, not ME who gets stopped by the CHP!

75 would be fine in the south east too.

I hate those CHP azzes....Glad i do not have to go there anymore..
    I liked running AZ though.

I'd rather stay in Texas but an occasional run out here won't kill me!

I prefer the El Paso to the Home Depot DC in McDonnough, GA that we do for Werner's TORO account. Drop the trailer on Wed, chill on Thursday, PU the trailer on Friday before 5pm, leave Saturday, drop on Monday. I wish we did that as a dedicated run back and forth.

I hear ya! That would be a good dedicated run. Just running 10 and 20 back and forth would be good miles.

I drive for them too! I just quit after almost two years of ########! There trucks only run 60-62 now and there's cameras in every truck! Management is garbage, no one talks. Very shady!!!!

I'm governed at 68mph and just yesterday in Florida on 75 I was trying to pass an O/O who was doing around 64-65. Soon as I'm halfway up his trailer he speeds up. When I get back behind him, he's right back at his slower speed.

As a result, I'm one of those drivers who gets fed up with morons and stays in the left or center lane passing the idiot who can't decide if he wants to go fast or slow. Sometimes it takes 1 mile or 10 depending on the game the other guy is playing. I dunno why they do that. It's gotta mess with your MPG.

So, you're going to punish all of us because your truck is not fast enough or YOU have a problem with the other driver? How long have you've been driving 6mo or a year?
