My first roadside breakdown. Sudden air leak in a trailer brake chamber, brakes are locking up. Everything is being taken care of. As I was placing my triangles, the first truck that came by stopped to make sure I was alright. FedEx driver. Pretty cool. I'm in the middle of nowhere (US-2 in Montana) but Randy has someone coming to fix me up.
As I typed that, the guy showed up. Luckily he was only a mile away. He got me hooked up to where I could drive to his shop. They're gonna fix it first thing in the morning. I was on the side of the road for maybe 45 minutes total. So lucky for how this worked out! Especially for being on US-2 in Montana at 0200 in the morning!
Other than being in this situation at all, it's an overall positive experience so far, but it hasn't been repaired yet. I won't be able to deliver on time, but after hours dispatch voicemail is aware lol! Time to get a few hours of shut-eye.

Just to be clear, go in to the drop lot, spin around, and park on the side of the entrance like you are leaving. Do not park in the drop lot itself.
You'll also see guys parked along the curb in Expeditors. Don't block a door of course.mattbh23 Thanks this. -
Zata40 and dedrouteCO Thank this.

You can plant a flag in the ground and claim some land in Montana if you need a place to park I think.

My stats for April:
9094 total miles
8.26 mpg
8 days off
I'm about 1388 miles short of where I Want to be over the trimester. That shouldn't be too difficult to make up. We'll see. May started out notably slow for me for some reason. It took me a while to get back in the groove after my home time. I was experimenting with a different schedule. I hardly ever talked with nick before. I could count my interactions with him on one hand. Obviously I talk with him a lot more often now. I started of kinda rocky at first coming off home time and suddenly I'm dealing with him all the time. He didn't really get the "hard charging, motivated" Zata right out of the gate. I guess I'm now starting to prove myself to him. -
I showed up to Jamestown ND 2 days early. As per usual, I'm given a door immediately. Before I even finish signing in. Other shippers need to take notes. This place is consistently amazing. Probably won't be this lucky at delivery, unfortunately.

Made my 2 last stops yesterday. Dropped the trailer in Greensboro at our droplot. Drove home and took my 'stuff' out of the truck.
Dropped the truck at the Thermo King in Raleigh so they can fix the APU.
