Were's the egr valve located on Maxxforce 13?

    My EGR valve might be stuck open I've heard it's not that hard to clean it does anyone know where its located thanks in advance

    You don't want to hear this...it's on the very back of the engine, on the top. The only way to get to it is thru the inside of the cab. And the only way to get the dog-house engine cover off is remove the seats and parts of the dash. I have had the EGR and cooler replaced on every Maxxfarce I have been cursed with. It's a nightmare and a mess to get to.

    Dam I was afraid of that. I've seen internationals get taken down like that or apart. No you're right I really didn't want to hear that. I guess I'm in for another week at the International dealer and another 2000 bucks

    Use the M1M cooler, high temp om replacement, works great, truck will run better ,no problems
