They pulled me and two others in last night around 2200 central. Just woke up no work being done on any trucks. Wtf? When I pulled my hub cover off to see what was going on I saw a chunk of gasket and paper. Looking for some Spyder guidence if I can fix it myself on the road in the future.. I have up to 1600 to deliver this load today but, I may miss my reload time. 61 miles from consignee.

It's just a gasket you can do it yourself long as you got a 15/16 socket and gear oil. They get old n break apart.Highway Sailor Thanks this.

Mine started that yesterday too. Makes it a real pain to switch duty status when you have to start the truck up and wait for it to load. Gonna call today to find a solutionChickadee and Highway Sailor Thank this.

I think they may have done an update interverently changing the value. It's stupid to have it shut down as soon as you turn the key off. I tried to get a phone number for Qualcomm off the Internet with no success.

My Qualcomm is doing the same thing.Chickadee Thanks this.

Hope they can get it fixed if we all call about it.

Is it leaking at the axle gasket or is it leaking at the wheel seal? Those axle gaskets are not formed to an exact fit so you will have the outside edge of the gasket exposed and eventually dry up and break off. That has no effect on the part of the gasket between axle and end of the hub. It is also completely unrelated to a wheel seal, which is on the backside of the hub where it slides over the axle housing. When a wheel seal goes bad it leaks inside the drum not on the outside where the wheels bolt on.Highway Sailor and 77fib77 Thank this.

^^^ what he said...
If it's the axle seal, it can easily be done yourself. If you cannot get a new seal, some gasket maker goop will work. Just clean both surfaces really well. And depending on how much gear oil you lost, might need to top that off. On the side of the pumpkin take the fill plug off with a half inch racchet. Stick your finger in there, the oil should be close to the top of the hole.Klleetrucking and Highway Sailor Thank this. -
I t was leaking at the Axel gasket. Once they started on it they were done in no time. Shop charged me 15.00 total. The service guy gave me a discount for spending the night in the garage. Once I get by a me shop I will pick up a gasket in the event this happens again I can do it myself.
