bs federal laws apply and transportation is exempt from overtime!I live in pa and can tell you companies like volpe that pays ot after 45,Brt that pays after 48 and more smaller companies around here that pay all straight time no ot!

 

What company was that? I know Old Dominion paid OT after 55 hours and the TM straight up told me almost no one works over the 55. I was told some guys will only do a 4 day week and fill in drivers will cover their runs so OT wasn't paid...part of the reason I went there for their "dock to driver" program and left after two weeks lol. This was also in 20-4

HOWEVER, in my haste to respond, I forgot that this application of the FLSA was applied to LOCAL intrastate operators. So, if you are engaged in actual interstate commerce, disregard please. I responded with a knee-jerk post. I was incorrect as regards interstate operations.

They want you to have at least 1 year CDL-A experience including NYC Metro. Try McLane, US Foods or Willow Run Foods. Got to work your way up.
