Wow. Most companies usually pay at least a few pennies more for team drivers. Like if the pay is .45 solo, I'd expect it to be at least .50 for teams, or .25 per driver.

.44 cpm is terrible team pay.

Teaming is very much worth it if you have a good driving partner and work for a good company.

I like LTL work because of the amazing pay, home every week, and good benefits for low cost.

Get all endorsements and go LTL.
    That's my 2 cents.

Can you sleep in a moving vehicle with an inexperienced driver behind the wheel?

I am not sure about that I would pray to God that he does not crash the truck while I am sleeping.

The benefit of running a team is when you go into a terminal and in one half hour are hooked to another set of trailers and going the reverse direction. Then the miles add up quick. We do no unloading or loading, but get paid by the hour waiting for terminals to make loads and hook up. Just ran 6000 miles in 8 days.

What company do you work for? Do you have a hard time sleeping while the truck in moving down the road?

For me, the short time I did teams (training) it wasn't the sleeping while driving issue. It was sleeping while hooking up to another trailer, or getting loaded/unloaded. Always took awhile to get back to sleep after getting woken up that way.
