Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

Longview, Tx...Truck won't be fixed til Monday or Tuesday. There is a truck stop next door with a smokehouse in it...Ate there once before, it was awful. Forced to eat there now as its the only place in walking distance....have to admit, they did improve...lucky me!

I think they got a Sonic in there too....I see one of them foot long chili dogs in my future!

I guess no big draft beers this weekend I have to deliver at 8:30 in the morning but I do see some clam bellies in my future yum yum

 

Finally have time to post this. I saw a CFI truck in OH blow past an open scale while flying placards. Didn't get the truck number. Me thinks someone is in need of extra training.

 

One of my former students no doubt...definitely needs more training.

 

shafted in Longview Texas...uh I mean reshafted...er got a new drive shaft in my truck...Homeward Bound Again, Petro in Shreveport tonight delivering in Georgia on Friday morning.

Ahhhh......Sweet Florida humidity... I got up walked in the pilot to get coffee and came back and I need to go take a shower.....

Delivering in Apopka Florida at noon, then over to Bartow to try to pick up my load to Deer Park Texas to take home.... If I get lucky it will be ready today if I'm unlucky early tomorrow morning......

 

humidity is good as long as you're close to home and not in Houston... I am hoping to share some of that humidity by Saturday...no pre-plan yet, you can't rush these things

 

It's day 31....longest tour out in 23 months ...

I'm officially ..Tired!!
