You should really consider running under some one else's authority and pay them to use your own ways to find loads. Then you would pocket 52k just my 2cents.

    Annonymous Thanks this.

I'm in the same boat and this seems like the best option, but how do you find people willing to let you run under their authority?

    Annonymous Thanks this.

My Authority is new since April 1st . If I can't net between 4-5 each weekly run it's almost pointless. I'm running spot market freight , I hope you get your expenses down and this doesn't turn into a thread on what not to do . Good luck.

Yall r right its just something with me. My friend called and is new as well amd he was quoted 23k in comparison of my 60k. Lmao. I need to find out what it is. I bwlieve its credit. He is almost a 800 while im at a 520 (divorce). Well he and i are talking now and may put it in his name and ill just drive under his name. We are going to be partners. Thanks everyone.

Thanks thats what im going to do. My friend who has a fraction of the experience and I'm only in my first year he called and got a quote of just over 20,000 which is 66%cheaper than what they quoted me so I'm going to run under his name and we're going to go partners.

It's real and outrageous it's definitely something just with me. It must be my credit or the fact that I got three points on my license because of a low air pressure in my trailer tire during a DOT inspection while I was in route to get it repaired.

Keep in mind. You can't run under your friends authority unless his insurance company clears you. They will want your driving record and everything else. They may raise his rates depending on you.
