While we where stopped at a rest area, an elderly woman approached my son and asked to use his cell phone, she didn't have signal.. So he came and told me that an elderly woman was broke down and need a cell phone to call for help.. Well surprisingly enough neither did I.. lol .. But I decided I should help so she took me over to her RV & her husband said the RV Check Engine light was on.. He said he was losing power.. now this poor old feller look like he probably should've been in a nursing home , not driving an oversized Mobil home down the highway.. lol .. I told him I was going to take a look under the hood.. I would be dumbed, the guy didn't have 1 drop of motor oil in that thing.. So we started looking around and came up with about 3 qts of the 12 he needed.. I told him, we need to find more, he said that's fine, Salina Ut is only 30 miles away.. He pulled off and I seen nothing but white smoke from the exhaust ... I assume he had fried his rings and was working on a blown motor next.. Why would you buy a $100,000 dollar RV and not check the motor oil and fluids before traveling across the high desert where it was 113 degrees? Crazy people..

Good Week, Going to end it with 4200 miles.. Council Bluff IA to LA... LA to Chicago IL, then finish in Franklyn IN..

Love when you can make the miles and not be rushed doing...

Picking up in Indy and headed to KC to drop & Hook tomorrow, then reset at home and P/U Tuesday for Salt Lake and back at it..

    Love Williams..

Wow that is a good week, I drive for MONSON and they had me go to Phoenix for a drop then pick up in Aguila AZ to drop in Sterling IL and then drop 2 in Mankato MN. They got me in a 04 Pete with a 625 CAT, 18 speed, loaded with lights and she'll do 75. The only thing I don't like about CAT's is that they can over heat on you climbing the big hills.
But man can this truck pull.

Lol.. I see a lot of them pulling the pass with the hood opened and steaming like a steam locomotive..

I tell you it will be nice to be home for a few days.. Sitting at the loves now in Franklin, unload tomorrow, then shoot back up 65 and load in Indy for AWG and set my cruise and head to KC...

Yeah I really have to watch my coolant temp gauge, when it gets about 210, I pull over and let her cool before resuming up the hill, especially in the Phoenix area.

I usally turn off the a/c, switch the motor fan on and go at it.. These new trucks seem to handle the heat a lot better thann the old school trucks..
