I'm thoroughly pissed because it seems Grape Nuts FLAKES have been dropped from store shelves recently. Regular Grape Nuts? Not a big fan. So, I have some serious soul searching to do as I seek out a go-to replacement. I already have a number of optional choices but none I'm prepared to move to the #1 slot.

Used to be pretty common in the 1980s if I remember right, a lot of Burger King's used to have actual salad bars if you can believe that. At least the one in my hometown did.

The KFC in Vandalia, IL has truck parking that it shares with a Ponderosa.
Truck stop in Litchfield, IL has KFC across the street. Ditto with the Pilot in Bloomington, IL, or at least 2 doors down.
TA in Effingham has a Panda and a Chipotle next door, and it's one of the TA's with a Popeye's if that counts.
I think all Chicagoland oasis's have Panda. One or two have KFC's also, if you win the parking lottery. Southside Oasis has best parking situation but no KFC.
KFC 2 doors down from Cloverdale ts in Indiana I-70.
I guess I eat KFC more than I thought.
For what it's worth, RoadRanger Pilot in Marshall, IL has a Church's.

Raisin Bran. There's some other flake, can't think of the name that was pretty good, expensive though, Kashi maybe.

Kashi? I'd have to run another 300 miles/week to afford that stuff. I don't care for any of the raisin brans which is weird because I always put dried blueberries in my grape nut flakes.

I mean seriously we'd all like the fuel price to only be 50c per gallon, we'd all love to get paid $3000 per week and pay no tax but that's just dreaming huh? Are you sure its KFC or just chicken that kinda looks like KFC, either way don't think the menu's changing any time soon.

Be a cold day in hell before I'd try that!

I've never been able to handle the grape nuts either.
They found that they weren't able to make the profit margin they demand, so they dropped them. Salad bars are a dicey business, do to spoilage.

Post Raisin Bran, to be exact. I noticed this morning at Walmart, there were no longer ANY Post cereals on the shelf.
