I want people to know that my quodtes are extremely HIGH. My factor is that i have bad credit. Its tremendously beneficial to have good credit. The insurance company uses your credit score to base your risk score off of because if you have bad credit than you are more of a risk-taker and considered more irresponsible than someone who has good credit who obviously goes above and beyond to ensure the responsibility of taking care of their credit and responsibilities. Now many of us get caught up in a bind like I did myself and we mess our credit up pretty bad okay that happens but it is what it is and we have to get our credit in line and come correct once we try to go this route. So if you have terrible credit like I do then you will see quotes like I have up above. And that's all she wrote.

It's not just credit. My sister was an insurance underwriter for a large firm.

Here are the factors they base your quote on:

    Married, single, divorced.
    Own home or rent.
    Credit score.
    Debit.
    Driving record.
    Education.

Cheapest quote goes to a married person who owns a home, OK credit score, not much debit, good driving record and has at least an associates degree in anything.

That person has a LOT to lose and is a good risk.

this could not affect your insurance rate. i've been inspected with no brakes on my trailer and 2 pages of other violations... did nothing to my insurance price when i renewed
