Saw this load, guessing it is a quick local move, perhaps across town or something. I know construction guys like to do borderline shady stuff sometimes. I recall my foreman got chewed out by CHP once for using the company truck with yellow beacon to follow our 100 ton truck crane (full boom, full counterweights) down the road a couple miles, no permits, no signs.
What Determines if a Load is Oversize?

I think I'll just sit near the back so I don't get any overspray on me...LoudOne, kylefitzy, Dye Guardian and 10 others Thank this. -
Watching you drive, just an accident waiting to happen... You don't even know what lane you need to be in without your GPS but your concerned about another drivers truck? Scary
IH Truck Guy, Blackshack46, Mikesee and 13 others Thank this. -
Driving where you did on the left pisses me off. You want to be safe either pass or back off and give him room. Nothing is more irritating than someone that hangs on your tail like you did. You leave him no out.
As for oversized, yes it is but many states do not require banners until you hit 10 feet wide.SAR, Dye Guardian, Oxbow and 12 others Thank this. -
@scottied67, what state was this in?

12' in MinnesotaDye Guardian, Oxbow, Razororange and 5 others Thank this.

I thought your video "I vs H beam" was the rock bottom worst I have ever seen. Your inane rambling paired with your idiotic driving in this one proved me wrong.
IH Truck Guy, kylefitzy, Dye Guardian and 14 others Thank this. -
Sounded like he said Dallas, so assuming Texas. Bet they were on their own channel talking about the fool that kept putting himself in bad spots as he danced around them.
If it was in Texas, no oversized signs required until over 10' wide, wouldn't know exactly how wide he is without putting a tape to it. Texas doesn't require beacons on oversized loads either. He has the required red flags on the width & rear overhang.
By the way OP, 6 or 7 trucks to move a crane doesn't make for a big crane. Seen more trucks needed just to move the boom sections on a truly big crane. -
You guys can criticize all you want, every time you watch one of the videos he's getting paid.
buddyd157, Razororange, DDlighttruck and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yes that brings up a question for the mods. Its quite obvious what the op's intent is. I thought this sort of behavior was not allowed or is it because he posts his silly videos and does not specifically say he is trying to steer people to his channel or whatever it is called.
@d o g @MACK E-6SAR, Tb0n3, Dye Guardian and 9 others Thank this.
