For Gawd's sakes, man! Please get a tax man. I pay $60 per month to Tax Consultants of Wa., in Federal Way and they take care of all my filings. You are not understanding what you are being told. There is NO Wa. State income tax and you DO NOT pay taxes on freight you haul.

Its business tax, Ive got it. You dont need to stress so much, take a blue pill

Actually you do pay business tax on all intrastate loads. Its the b&o tax and the utc tax that you pay on intrastate loads. Interstate loads you do not get taxed on. That is any load that originates outside of Washington and delivers in Washington or originates in Washington and delivers outside of Washington does not get taxed, but anything that starts and stops in Washington you'll pay tax on.mitmaks Thanks this.

I was told to pay tax on inbound loads only

So where's the tax manual? if else all fails, read instructions, why does this sound complicated and confusing?

for the mention, my comment didn't quite turn out the way I meant it, but the damage is done now. what I meamt was if your unsure after the comments left, why not refer to a text book written by those who enforce it ( such as the web site above ) for.more clairity. if I wasn't sure after reading, I would ask questions myself. each state a bit different
