I'm really surprised of all the these post. There all wrong. Your better of using google and doing your own research. I did, but I'm going into detail. It's late and had a long day.

Don't know about you folks, but my last company withheld 30 minutes a day off our time clock as break time. They also neglect to tell you this at any time! If you don't have enough sense to keep track of your own hours and compare them to your check, they continue to steal this money from you, while expecting you to keep working.
I discovered it with my first paycheck, and brought the discrepancy to my supervisor's attention. His response, and this is an exact quote, "well we HAVE to give you a break time." From that day forward, I never tried to eat on the road.
I usually brought my lunch, and just stopped in a safe, convenient location to eat. I would often not take my full half hour. But there were times I'd just get sick of eating a sandwich, and stop at a decent restaurant.
My packed lunch would consist of one sandwich, usually turkey, but sometimes ham, a Ziploc with chips, Fritos or something similar, apple, pear or orange, and a couple of home made cookies. Always had a thermos of coffee and a jug of ice water with me.
That was a good job and for the most part I was happy with the company, but that stealing a half hour a day from the paycheck really pissed me off. I #### near quit over it, since I didn't have much time invested with them when I discovered it. Then, after calming down, just decided to deal with it and get on with the job.
Sooner or later, this is going to come back and bite them in the arse, if it hasn't already.TaterWagon#62 and Pumpkin Oval Head Thank this. -
That's my typical breakfast.
The smuckers uncrustables.
I personally don't eat lunch as I prefer not to work more than 10 hours a day.
If I take a lunch break it's a f***d up day, I'm sick, or with my previous employer to avoid a reload.
If I knew I could do a whole days worth of deliveries in 5-6 hours I would take a fake lunch break at a mom and pop Mexican restaurant I used to deliver to.
I used to freaking hang out there for 3 hours Lol -
I don't stop for lunch either, unless I'm pissed off and feel like milking the clock to maximize returns.
That will be coming to end soon though once everybody has to start using elogs.Canned Spam Thanks this. -
I like sandwiches and apples, so that worked for me. I also carried an extra bottle of sweet tea. Plus a water bottle and a Gatorade bottle. -

I carry /take a green salad with any lunch I take. When I say green, I mean like spinach, kale, etc. The darker green it is, the healthier for you. I rotate on my sandwiches, usually white turkey or chicken and sometimes roast beef. But I only buy the quality kind, absolutely nothing processed. When I get tired of sandwiches, I will make a couple of chicken salads and eat that instead. I drink WATER, absolutely nothing with fructose in it or sugar, like Gatorade or soft drinks.
Fast food eating and bad choices of meats(processed) foods will catch up to you sooner or later with age. I've have learned this first hand.bentstrider83 Thanks this.
