I've thought about doing it myself before but my local freightliner dealer does it for $380 so that idea was quickly scratched lol.

Yeah it's not much cheaper to do it myself. I bought my filters from Freightliner. I'm also changing my coolant filter which isn't part of the regular pm so that was an extra $40.

My next pm will only be about $170, oil & filter only. Fuel filters & Davco get changed every 50k miles.

You crawling under the truck and getting to know it intimately is well worth the price. The DOT man does not surprise you because you know the underneath of your truck like the back of your hand.

Purple power and a pressure washer will solve that.

I'm gonna buy a hotsy and all you guys can come to Florida and get the underside of tote trucks cleaned. @300 bucks a pop it would only take 25 off you to pay for the hotsy. Jesus those things are expensive.

They look very nice I want one for the truck. But the price is out of here lol. Makes me wanna hook hoy water from the water heater into a normal power washer lol
I'm gonna get my front cover done in a month or so. That's where most of the oil is coming from.

    RStewart Thanks this.

Yes sir. That's my plan. Plus since I don't build hot rods anymore I need something to tinker with. Lol.

At least you know it. A lot of guys wouldn't know that.

Dang. Blue Beacon would be cheaper. Lol. We were looking at power washers yesterday.

Blue beacon won't get under the truck. I haven't found a single place willing to do it.

Highway Sailor and RStewart Thank this.
