I did my CDL test today and passed my pre trip and also passed the parking lot manuvers but I failed the driving test when it on the city streets due to my horrible downshifting Wich caused me to roll in neutral to long. So I was told that when I go back to retest I'll only have to do the road test and not the pre trip going over the truck again . Does anybody know if that's accurate information here in Pennsylvania?
    Thank you

If that's what they said I'm sure it's true. That's how it is in Missouri. You can fail one, pass the other, and only have to retake the failed portion. And now that you know what to work on, the second take will be a breeze.

It depends on the officer if he wants a pretrip. Keep up on it just in case. On your down shifting watch your rpm's get it down to 1300 not high or to low it will grind.good luck
