Let's hear from some team drivers why their company is the best

Welp. Nevermind apparently Chicago is horrible. I'd listen to this guy I've never dealt with R&L other than talking to those guys out on the road.

 

Not sure if UPS in Chicago area is still hiring or not, but a couple years ago they were hiring teams off the street. Most teams bump $2,500-2,900 a week per driver. Any extra work when you get back is 1.5 for the first day and double time on the second day even if you work a 4 day week. Chicago is the strongest local union in the country and their pension is second to none.

 

Are you serious? PER driver?!

That sounds about right. Friend of mine teams out of Louisville and grosses 2800 a week. I was gonna go there but they don't hire husband wife.

 

That's incredible. Is that UPS Parcel or Freight? Or both? Not that it matters just curious. Why wouldn't they hire husband/wife teams? What kind of reasoning is that? I'd think that'd be the way to go from a company perspective.

 

I'm not sure exactly. Maybe if they fire one then they lose both? It's for parcel out of the Air hub
