T/A Petro showers

There were several changes. 1st, 60 gallons instead of 50. 2nd, 2 showers instead of 1 at 120 gallons. 3rd, cash or points purchase of shower up to $15 and 4th, for those who aren't platinum members, shower credits last 14 days instead of 10 days.

 

I put 180 gallons in yesterday. 1 shower.

 

It take 24 hours for the second shower credit to show up. That promo end today I think like other said.

 

The 2 showers for 120 gallons was just a temporary
Thing. That's not permanent.
It only lasted for a month or 2 after they raised the price.
It was a gimmick to lesson the anger from drivers.

 

Love's has lots of new truck stop and new showers still just 50 gallons for free shower. If you buy like 1500 gallons in a month you get 2 free shower every day and unlimited free drinks if you have their coffee mug. Free parking at loves no reservations

 

But only 10 parking spots to chose from! Lol

 

Most TA showers are old and don't have counters. I like the truckstops, hate the showers. That said, the 10 extra gallons isn't going to stop the earth from turning. Heck, most drivers are getting a free benefit from their company's purchase. What do they have to complain about?They're not footing the bill.

 

I'll pay the 12 bucks at pilot or 15 bucks at TA/Petro or whatever it is for a shower thank you. Even if its at a independent truck stop with low down showers. All I need is hot water and that's it. I've got my own shower soaps shower shoes towels and bath clothes. Lately the mega's have been price gouging even before the hurricane so I've been getting fuel at the mom and pop's, QT, Sheetz and some Ambest. I do think that shower prices are stupid high but its better than stinking up my sleeper, and I have a better chance at getting laid just by an actual female and not some lizard by washing my behind. Yes I said that on TTR.

 

The shower is free, It's the ladies behind the one way glass that would pay.
