If I may also recommend WEL Companies out of De Pere, WI for a new(er) driver wanting to learn refrigerated. Heavy in our area great for hometime. . Nice folks. Training available. Lease purchase. Nice equipment. Pay is average.
Holland Enterprises IS worth considering

WEL Companies...I believe that there is a fellow on YouTube that has or had a channel that works or worked for them as well. I think that he is a trainer over there as well. The thing that attracted me to Holland Enterprises was the length of load. Nobody really wants to run up here to the Northeast region, but while I would not mind too much staying close to home, I also would not mind venturing out and with the colder weather coming up, staying or trying to stay along that southern I-10 corridor but that is just a preference. I realize that Holland Enterprises runs in the Northwest of the country as well. Do you know if either WEL, or Holland Enterprises have the dreaded driver facing cameras in their trucks?? Dealbreaker for me

Don Hummer Trucking Oxford, Iowa (dry van) is another to look at. New equipment. Training available. Outstanding reviews. Rental car to orientation no bus.JV_620 Thanks this.

Yeah, I wanted to hook up with Hummer but they wanted experience actually surprisingly. From the Facebook messenger conversation that I got in reply to inquiring getting on with them: 'Unfortunately, we do not have training opportunities in that area. Our training opportunities are isolated to areas closer to the midwest. After your training is completed and you have some experience, we would love to revisit at that time! Best to you in your search!'
So, they're out for now until I get some more experience under my belt. -
I believe both have forward facing not sure about driver facing? Unfortunately I think it's just a sign of the times that they'll all be driver facing. As far as long length of haul, there's no better than Holland that I'be found with all driver amenities included.JV_620 Thanks this.
-
Bummer man! They were top of my list as well.JV_620 Thanks this.
-
No problem! Thanks for the information!
-
Yes sir no problem! Good luck in your endeavors. If I think of anyone worth mentioning I'll let you know.JV_620 Thanks this.

We do not have Driver facing cameras here at Holland. Just outward facing dash cams.
-
Okay thanks for the clarification. And just to confirm, they don't hire rookies or student drivers, correct?
