That's actually not a bad office to deal with. I'm upfront about what i think of the rates on the counter tops, but speak with common courtesy. She knows its not a good rate but all the customer is willing to pay.

If you give her a few days heads up you can get solid rates on better freight out of there. And she is one of the agents that's loves putting together ltl runs. Has gotten me way north of 2 bucks a mile all the way to Florida with those partials. And that was back when 2 bucks was doing good. Today i wouldn't be surprised to get 3+ to get home from there.

 

Don't think I'm disrespectful to her spyder, that's not the case. I hauled that steel out of Anoka a couple weeks after starting here, took it to NY for Peanuts... Learned my lesson... Now she did say she is going to try and get a LTL together for me so we will see... I'm not in a huge rush I expected to sit here for a couple days at Cummins but was in and out of there this morning...

They called an offered me a "hot" load out of Madison, SD and wanted to know what I needed... I named it they called back with the customers counter which IMO for someone needed something moved they don't appear to be to desperate but it works... Only 10k so it's nice and light...

 

Go to leave truckstop and notice this on my pre trip.... SOB!!!!!

 

Holy crap. Looking at the tread depth that's practically a new tire. I'd be all over that tire company to warranty that tire.
