Get them cut in by the high speed polisher and jeweler's rouge. Easiest to do.

To maintain your polish. Avoid the acid wash.

Get a squirt bottle and fill it 1/2 wheel cleaner and 1/2 polish. Bunch of clean rags. Rub the mix on the metal and rub it off. It will turn black. Then take a clean rag and polish off the black residue from the mix. Should shine like new money.

Once polished use a wax on them ! Like turtle wax or equivalent! Get mine done every quarter like 's look good going down the road ! Polish protects shine and ptevents grime from adhering just rinse off once a week!

If I was DOT I wouldn't want to inspect a filthy truck and driver. I would pick someone in between. I can only imagine what that nasty truck and driver smell like. I never see the really ratty ones get inspected.

Just polished my wheels this past weekend. Just used a powerball and some aluminum polish. Luckily on this truck I have fairings covering my fuel tanks but my next one won’t.
