    I am back in Troutdale Oregon for the night... Then I got to do California or long ways at 55 miles an hour... I should be in Calexico in time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

    This is been an interesting trip... Let's see I saw a windsock in Wyoming that was vertical that's about as rare as brake lights on a FedEx truck

    I saw a Mount Hood and Mount Rainier in the same Panorama through my windshield that's pretty rare...

    Saw a cell tower in Washington that wasn't disguised as a tree... That's rarer than brake lights on a FedEx truck

    I saw Orange Highway warning signs but said caution environmental workers... That turned out to be a prison crew picking up trash... I wonder if the signs by the prison say warning, environmental worker housing area do not pick up hitchhikers

    The Pacific Northwest is pretty, but get me out of here... Facepalm, head shaking

    Lincoln NE currently. Family & friends all safe in Las Vegas, although a friend who is a retired Fire Chief out of Cali, did lead people to safety & was on news. Sad state of affairs - Las Vegas is an excellent city with top-notch Police & Fire, and is doing everything possible to assist those affected. Be safe all.

    Corning, CA Petro. Will run out of hours in 450 miles, puts me pilot in Castaic tomorrow, eeewww.

    Good news is my little brother will pick me up and probably buy dinner if I can convince him that Mom had good reason to like him better than me.

    Spaghetti and clam sauce, great calamari, little brother got alligator arms when the check arrived... Rooster pays...

    Shut down due to wind in Ontario at the TA. Actually this is Rancho Cucamonga. I like saying Rancho Cucamonga.

    Gusts to 60mph between Banning and Cochella, I only have 5 k in the box... I'll sit tight for a little while...
