Good luck with that, considering it's the big carriers who are a huge part of the reason we're having this discussion. Their "voice" has already spoken and I think they greased a lot more wheels then your wallet can grease.

    I prefer e-logs.

So I guess I won't be fighting on your behalf.

If you can't get it done in 14, what makes you think you can do it in 18... Do 14 and take the rest of the day off... you paper loggers have my permission.

    ibcalm19 and snowwy Thank this.

During my months on paper logs, I really didn't get much more done. Paper did take away a lot of unnecessary stress though.

Exactly! I just came off a restart, where I couldn't do ANYTHING buy sit at a truckstop. There was a speedco across the street, a blue beacon at the next exit and a grocery store down the road. I could have gotten all that done and still vegged out on Netflix.

But no. I could only sit there and watch people pee on the fuel island.

It's also very nice when something happens toward the end of your day and you're racing that stupid clock to try and find a safe place to park.

I don't haul logs, so I still don't understand why I need a log book.

I signed. I've signed this petition like half a dozen times over the last few years. But you never stop fighting, never.
