    Just a hunch, I bet he tried to come down the hill in the wrong gear and either tried to downshift and couldn't get it and went into GA overdrive or smoked his brakes and couldn't stop.

    I bet the CA storm trooper gave him a pat on the back for his heroic life saving skills...o_O

    I would also jokingly say, I bet his BVD's were also used as a personal escape ramp of sorts. Like Bill Cosby once said, 1st you say it, then you do it.
