    I know exactly what's going on here. But, I'm fluent in trucker talk.

    Here we go:

    He was doing 70 & and the company got mad because he wouldn't do 1400 in a 1000 zone.

    He wrote up the issues that prevented him from doing 1400 in 1000.

    They misunderstood and took it that he was doing 400 over, although they inadvertently said "2-4". That was just short for 200-400 over.

    Now, he's rolling fly in a ride that he doesn't have look at their rules and abide.
