I met this guys brother in MA a couple of years ago. He even got out a viewed the damage. Before I could get dressed, he drove around back like a dumb### and parked without ever speaking.

Until the cops showed up :biggrin_25525:

His reason for driving off. He saw me sitting in the seat (I was putting on my shoes there was about 9 inches of snow on the ground) and I didn't get out of the truck, so he thought it was all okay.

A few years ago I was at a shipper waiting to get loaded. This was one of those shippers that required you to drop your trailer and sit in front of it. This driver from a larger company (not Swift...company name begins with a "Z") was assigned the dock next to me. I had already backed into my door and pulled ahead of the trailer. I was sitting in my driver's seat watching this guy back into his dock. As I recall, he did a pretty good job right until the end. He made a drastic last minute cut and took out my passenger side spot mirror with his hood mirror.

The guy's comment to me? "I don't know why they put so many #### mirrors on these trucks!" :biggrin_2551:

Obviously he didn't know, since he obviously never looked at the #### thing.

Years back my dad was pulling flat bed for GP and going over a bridge that was big enough for 1 truck but NOT two. Well, he was nearly over when another truck decided to try it. They hit mirrors and had to wait on a cop to get there to write it up. I can recall my dad was madder than a wet rooster.
