WEST CHESTER, Ohio —
A West Chester trucker was killed in a Wednesday afternoon crash in central Indiana. It happened around 4:15 p.m. on US 50 at County Road 1050 in Jackson County, Indiana State police said. Jerome Sharkey, 50, was killed in the crash involving two semi-trucks. Investigators said the two trucks – one westbound and one eastbound – were traveling through a construction zone where a bridge replacement was taking place. The flatbed trailer of the westbound semi struck the cab of Sharkey’s eastbound truck, trapping the 50-year-old West Chester man inside. Sharkey was eventually pulled from the vehicle by emergency personnel, and taken to the hospital where he later died. The driver of the westbound semi was not injured

Not good.
Not going to assign blame either - the torn off trailer axle and cab damage attests to a significant impact, regardless of error.
Just wish more folks would respect the elevated attention requirements of the road.bigguns, Mike2633, BigBob410 and 1 other person Thank this. -
