I used Excel, I can send out a blank spreadsheet if you send a request to me via PM. (to the two guys with requests in, I havn't forgotten, I just have to do a little work on it to make it multi user friendly, I'll try to get it out today if I have a good signal on my aircard when I stop for the night)
Good luck at the CDL school.

APUs are a godsend.
My Carrier unit runs 100% of the time when I'm using it. It never shuts off. It has the capability to run based on preset parameters, but I have been locked out of the ability to change these settings via password protection. I haven't gotten around to requesting that info to find out if I can have it.
The heaters in the Carrier units are electric as best I can tell, not fuel fired and they put out a very low level heat. I like sleeping in the cold so I haven't run it through the night yet, I'll save that for the 20 degrees or less nights. They work great at maintaining a temp once it is reached when on low, but this morning I woke up about 1hr before it was time to get out of bed and fired it up so it would be warm when I crawled out of bed. It was still rather chilly after that time.

Better than sitting in the mid teens by the end of the week, eh!
I'm sitting on a 1300mi run with a couple of stops on it that won't be unloaded until Thursday morn, so I'm in the same boat and also trying to get home to PHX. I've been working on that for over two weeks with a message on my screen from the head of the training department to get me there ASAP to pickup a student. Even with that I can't seem to get west of TX. Although this load will have me empty in MN (cold up here) and I may just get a run going west. I assume the biggest problem with getting that way at this moment is the guys that have vacation time scheduled for turkey day have priority and that leaves us out here waiting. With the freight the way it is, I'm not going to get to worked up over it, it's to be expected.
They sure didn't have any trouble routing you to Lincoln though, did they

I did! General Mills dedicated, and I believe I'm the only one who managed to remember to put you down for the referral bonus, which you were kind enough to share a portion of (I hope you don't mind me saying that in public....)
Currently sitting in the Wilmer terminal because I have between 10am and midnight to pick up a load in Roanoke, TX that live unloads at 0500 Friday in Albuquerque. Got the truck outta the shop last night, and just found out they're gonna offer free lunch to drivers here in Wilmer at noon or so. Plus, they have showers here so I'm gonna go wash my butt.evertruckerr Thanks this. -
So ET you're a trainer now? If so thats good. If you ever come by my neck of the woods and need dinner, let me know cause dinner will be on me.

That will end up being it for the week the way they do things for me. 1643mi. Thats 1401, 2669, and 1643. So far for the month of November 6371mi. as of 11/20. And people wonder why I get so negative. If it weren't for my wife having Thanksgiving dinner already bought months ago, we wouldn't be able to spend the extra for it now. And Christmas....huh. I won't even get the tree out, or the lights...nothing. Thankfully my kids are grown and don't expect much. Maybe I'll become a Muslim....at least I have the anger for it. Except I can't get down on my knees that often each day...so that's out. No way I can be a Buddhist.... too mean...all that peace and serenity would drive me nutz. And I rule out Hindu... I think it wouldn't look right worshiping at the prime rib counter right before I chow on my chosen one. More posts later, not feeling too chatty today. Extremely bummed out about the whole outlook on the future in general.
C'yall in a while.Last edited: Nov 20, 2008
