What attracts people to Power Only loads? I'm not talking about you guys doing Fedex-UPS that's obviously different. I see loads like 700-800 miles power only. I would rather pull my trailer. Why leave my trailer somewhere with the risk of having my stuff in boxes stolen and why pull someone else's trailer with possible unknown issues? 700 miles is nothing if someone is concerned about "wear and tear" on their own trailer lol. I wonder what happens when something goes wrong with that trailer like a blowout or busted chamber how long is the driver sitting on roadside while they monkey around looking for.help or is it in the contract Mercer has with them that they have a certain amount of time to get road service there?

Never made any sense to me either, the one sure thing we have control over is maintenance. My patience would go ballistic if I was sitting on the side of the road because of someones lack of maintenance.

On the bright side, it looks easy to get to. Your probably not lucky enough to be sitting at the house.

Easy access yes, once I start taking all those airlines off I'm sure its going to be really really fun. ( not really ) problem is I have a load that needs delivered, and I can't get the part till tomorrow...

That looks like it cracked because it was over tightened. The fitting has tapered pipe threads and the way its bottomed out it acted as a wedge.

That's how its been since I had the truck. I just did a 34 with truck off. Turned truck on this morning to roll and when I released trailer brakes I hear a pop and air leaking. I thought must have just had a airline pop off or something only to discover this mess. I got the part coming tomorrow. Removing all them airlines and getting it back together I'm sure is going to be a giant headache. I've got extra strength Tylenol ready.

A bourbon a day keeps the coroner away.
