Crown makes pretty good pallet jacks. Both their electric and manuals are solid. Raymond is good too.

We recently switched from Crown to Raymond electric jacks. They're much quieter, more reliable (according to our research).
They're also easier in the bottom line. A Crown costs about $4,000 new, a Raymond about $2,500 new.Last edited: Dec 13, 2017
truckguy391 and scottied67 Thank this. -
Wow I didn’t know there was such a big price difference. Raymond makes good equipment and I’d definitely go with them knowing the price difference.
I’ve also found that Raymonds are easier to control. They have a creeper switch in them which will let you turn without having to lower the handle. It’s a handy little feature in tight spots. Also the throttle isn’t super sensitive so you can go really slow if necessary. Crowns are good machines as well, but I’ve found that the throttle is a little bit too “jumpy” on the ones I’ve used.JReding Thanks this. -
Until you buy a HF framing nailer that shoots 2-3 nails at a time.
However, I would get another HF pallet jack. I never saw my life flashing before my eyes when using my first one.rollin coal Thanks this. -
Either way will work it just really depends on your personal strength i've had to load plenty a trailer manually with a pallet jack it does keep one fit. However yeah the electric one would be the way to go if i had to choose between the 2.
