Only 5?
How many truckers would it take to make that a co-op truck stop? -
Oh maybe 100 or so.

Let's see. 5 million dollars in the pot to turn that into a Coop.
9 million or so truckers national. Is that a fair statement? Call it 2 bucks each one time plus a 5 dollar annual fee to maintain same.
If every truckstop was purchased and turned into a national Coop for truckers, owned by truckers at 100 dollars per year....
oh wait. My thinking is flawed.
How many truck stops are there in the USA? That should not be too difficult to addup.
Call it 1000 truckstops to start. Each one 2 bucks to buy out for every CDL holder in the USA. Call it 200 dollars a month by the driver so that he and she can come and go as please to and from these places.
Profits from fuel etc will go back to the driver. The owner.Oldironfan Thanks this. -
So 100 drivers would be $50,000 each. My math was off, in my head I was thinking $5000 each.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
