4k to the truck is easy. No one has said it isn't. However it is above fleet average. The reason is simple. Look at the average age of our contractors vs someone like schneider. I'm 40 and one of the youngest here. House is paid for, truck is paid for, personal vehicle paid for, retirement account well established (but obviously not fully funded cause I'm still working part time). I don't need to work full time, i pick and choose when to work based on current market dynamics which change almost day to day.
A big chunk of our fleet is guys like me that work basically part time. When i work i do 4k/week easy, but the other 6 months that i don't pull a single load bring the average down. The truck grossed 125k last year. That's only an average of 10.5k a month, but in reality the truck only worked 6 months so for in all practical ways of looking at it i blew the 'average' away.
And them you have 10% of the fleet that rarely spend a single night away from the house. The only make 500 to 600 a day, but its on under 500 miles. You don't got to gross big numbers when you only spend 200 dollars a week on fuel. A year ago that was me cause the local market allowed it. I could fill my tanks up and run on the same fuel all freaking month long.Highway Sailor Thanks this. -

What's everyone input on ipd inframe kits. Anyone use them before? 2 year warranty on all parts and some labor is even covered in a failure caused by the parts?.. Hmmm
