FYI, you no longer have to display your MC #.

Perfectly legal to write your info on cardboard and duct tape it to the sides of the truck if you want to.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
While it is legal, the question is why would you want to use it.
If you are thinking of taking them off and running it as a personal vehicle, forget that idea. -
if they have to get off there ### to see it then they will tell you the letters arnt big enough

I did it with a Penske rental a couple times. Got pulled into a Montana scale, bring papers in etc, guy says if I plan on having the truck longer than 30 days I have to have the trucking company name and other info on the sides of the truck.Lepton1 Thanks this.

No, I am just tired off peeling off the signs of owner operators trucks that decided to go with another company. With the magnet is easy, I will take my signs back and give them to the next guy. No more ordering stickers.Lepton1 Thanks this.

Maybe make your company better, so O/Os will stay. Problem solved.Lepton1, whoopNride and Oldironfan Thank this.

I have a set of magnets I put on a straight truck when it goes out of state and needs to have DOT numbers. The rest of the time it's a farm truck. Keeps the blue lights from flashing when tooling around locally.

We used to "trip lease" and take the plastic signs they'd give us and bungee cord them to the stack guards.Oldironfan and 12 ga Thank this.
