This has been a bad year at Walmart.

You must work in the corporate office. Btw Walmart is getting payed 900 a day to help out in Puerto Rico. Let’s not even mention all the Sams club stores that where closed. Also there have been many Sams club distribution centers closed in the past few months. Not to mention the thousands of managers that where let go Friday that worked for Walmart stores.

 

It's been going on for a while. Walmart moves in and causes everything else to close. Then they eventually leave too. I bet those city commissioner's that vote yes on walmarts in small towns feel dumb when it shuts down

 

This is a tough issue.....

Easy to blame big bad WM for closing up mom and pop store, but majority of the town residents ignored mom&pop and shopped at WM instead. Now they want to complain and blame WM. If you support your local mom&pop and they provided a valuable service, they wouldn't have gone under.

Is this a popular opinion, no but it is what it is. There are specific items, Quality goods and services that I cannot buy at WM, for these items I use the specialty stores/mom&pop store.

Nobody customer wise seemed to care about the mom&pop when they were still open, and had no problem shopping at the evil empire then?

But alas, not even this great propaganda piece by the great elitist Charlie could save him from his own I'm better than you ways

 

I think 2 major factors.

1) Amazon. Now the 300 pounders can easily get to 450, without leaving the house.**** Pro tip- Invest your money in the people that make over size door frames, and diabetes products.

2) Service. Service at any Walmart is ####. It doesn't outweigh the money saved.

And there is also backlash. I mean they even sell cars now. But it's the same limited knowledge, ####ty service. I think that those that do go out, like to mill around a bit, not just go wonder about the concrete box.

Just a theory.

Take heart Wally drivers. Swift is always in need. You may even pull some of the same trailers.

 

All the stores that closed last week were located in heavily saturated markets. Most of these old shuttered up Wal Mart stores you see around the country were replaced by a nearby Supercenter.

 

They are also turning 10 of these Sam’s into warehouses for their internet shopping.

Yea they went from THE driving job to bottom feeder status pretty quickly it sounds like. $.38 cpm and slip seating......no thanks.

 

Cry me an effing river. Even with lowered standards, there are many arseholes who post here that couldn't make the cut. What kind of varginas piss and moan about putting on friggen snow chains? Crybaby BS friggen seat warmers, and steering wheel holders. I will ride this train till the wheels fall off. Keep on pissin, moaning, and whining.

 

I just simply posted what a whole lot of folks are saying...Wal-Mart is turning into a generic mega carrier hand holding operation...too many folks can see this...Bentonville is doing this on purpose which is beyond stupid....if it's not broke,why fux it?...IT'S ALL ABOUT COMPLETE CONTROL...mgt is on a powertrip..
