Back when I was there twelve years ago, it was great. Go out, make the multi stops and come back empty. Rarely ran over 2500 miles a week, home every other day, and made 1100-1500 depending on the stop pay. Sometimes home the same day. All good things come to an end.

This might explain things...

In short, they have devolved into a micromanaging mega carrier attitude. Trucks only go 65, only 34 hours off per week max if you work out of the main Arcadia terminal...they brag about being a "top pay" carrier...so do a lot of other bottom feeders.
Even if you factor in making maybe a generous $90000 per year, is it worth working 134 hrs a week and only having 34 hours to pack and unpack your bags? That includes the commute to and from work.
Constantly spamming Craigslist and Indeed looking for drivers tells me their turnover is way higher than what it used to be.
While they arent as bad as Werner or Crete they are certainly heading in the bottom feeder direction. They are not the "elite fleet" they were 20 years ago. I don't really see or hear of anyone being really happy there.mathematrucker, Over This, Toolhead81 and 3 others Thank this. -
When I worked for them 24 years ago you pretty much just got about 36 hours off. I lucked out and got to drive one of their last unrestricted tractors before being forced into a new FLD. Lost 10mph right there.
Over This Thanks this.
