Former SNI Drivers Chat Room

Worked for them for 10 years and then when i turned in notice was told i would get my remaining 2 weeks vacation pay.Then after I quit said they didn't have to pay.Guess that's what 10 years gets you.Would not recommend for a new driver.Experienced drivers get your bonus and run.

 

This was the message I sent my DBL about a job on INDEED. "Just so your not blindsided. I'm fishing to see what the pay is. Driver pay equal to what I make now is hard to come by in Northern Michigan" About a month later I put in for some vacation time & DBL says " you have to clean out your truck then". A week into my two weeks of vacation DBL wants to know when I'm coming back, I submitted a resignation letter the following day

 

It was very good when I was doing very good a few years ago. since then, I think I've caused him a few problems with minor accidents. My OC Manager is okay, not had any issues w/ him. But I really don't trust anyone who works in an office.

 

I was treated very fairly when I left, I have to give them that. At least the person in charge of the board I was on. I had a good relationship with them, so ##### your own situation and do what you are comfortable with. I get the feeling that your experience will depend on who you are dealing with. There wasn't any games from the company though. Not like some carriers that will try to screw you over as a company policy.

I actually enjoyed my time at SNI. At the end of my week, i go to the office and chat up my dbl and dispatchers all the time.

I had considered going back to SNI just for the atmosphere
