Lol. I have been following this thread for over a year and on occasion you will see these types of comments. Neither was necessary or helpful though it is comical sometimes. There are less then 10 guys who commented regularly on here and I hope you guys continue to help out. Thanx

IMHO, if you are easily offended, you shouldn't be in the transportation industry or using the internet.

All my questions have been answered here and I appreciate it.

as for my attitude, I am proof that they give trolls CDL's

    :D

You can be a troll without being disrespectful to a fellow driver.

I'm glad you're getting your questions answered, that's what this thread is for. However, if you have the same attitude with your coordinator, the agents, customers, & berries brokers that you've shown here you won't be at Mercer or any other good O/O company long. I'm not bashing you or talking down to you, I've acted out of line myself. Just throwing a friendly piece of advice your way. Good luck & be safe

opinions are like ########, everyone has one and they all stink.

Your opinion on the longevity of my career with Mercer is just that, your opinion, and it stinks.

I've seen some loads on the board that require "padded pipe stakes". I have pipe stakes although haven't used them yet. What can be used to pad them, like an old towel wrapped around the top 6-12" of it then duct taped? Or are they wanting the entire stake padded? And.... what's the purpose of it?

IIRC Mercer got their hand slapped for some improper accounting in that deal.
