You seen them close up pics last week on FB of them spread axle vans some fella (I want to say in pa) was selling? I think I seen you tagged in that post.
One unit looked like somebody cut the slider in half, slid the axles to where they wanted them fixed and welded in place....
that doesn't seem to me to be a good way to do it, based on how stout the setup is on my spread axle.

Yessir I saw that. Looked like a half a$* job to me. I would never get it done like that. Hendrickson makes a slider box that yu can buy and put right in there. That’s be the only way I would do it. All 3 of my trailers are spreads and the 4th one that’s being built by Great Dane is too

Yu take out your old slider box, fit the new one in, bolt the suspension components back up and off you go. The suspension company Hendrickson makes it. 10’1” spread box.

But no sir I haven’t seen @Largecar359 yet, he did a spread?

That’s. Good deal! Yu don’t have any problem loading and 50’ dry box? I have a 53’ a 51.5’ and a 50’. But I also have a contract so I really don’t have any issues at all

I don't barely use it at all I stick with the step decks mostly. The couple random loads i pulled with it I asked in advance what the load was, dimensions, weights etc n if they don't know those things- pretty unlikely they'll have the money I want for it either.
