Not sure if your speaking to me or not but I just was looking at different lease conpanys. I didn't think I found something new. I was looking for other drivers opinion not a smart ### remark that has nothing to do with the conversation. I would suggest reading the post and trying to understand it before making yourself look like a moron
I don't understand lease to Schneider pay

Thanks that's an answer/opinion I was asking for. It definitely look like a company like Mercer would be a better bet for myself. I've just never had a company do some of the work so I am having a hard time letting someone else do that and putting a price on it LOL.Mooseontheloose Thanks this.

I only seen the rates because I was talking to a friend of mine that works with them. We played around on the board for a while just searching. It worked for him because he is close to retirement and not working 7 and 8 days and his truck is paid off.
-
No need to re read it I understood it the first time. Again it's old news, really old.
-
Maybe it is to you it was new to me so I asked a question. Sorry your in such a bad mood driver.
-
Lol ,I'm not even close to being in a bad mood I'm at home relaxing in my lazy boy.

Do you think they put all the loads on the board? Maybe there is a chance that all the good freight goes on the orange trucks and the leftovers go on the board, I never heard of a company doing that, but just maybe they would do something like that,
Mooseontheloose Thanks this. -
No, you’re not missing much. That about sums it up.
Different strokes for different folks, but not my cup of tea.
If you have the equipment, then own numbers and load boards. If not, then Mercer or LS, if you prefer self dispatch, or any other outfit.Gonzo1300 and Mooseontheloose Thank this. -
Here’s what I’ve learned on here: this ain’t “Dear Abby” we’re truck drivers on an anonymous board. Take a punch, counter punch, move on, otherwise you’re wrestling a pig....

I was told that this is what gives companies like LS and others their competitive advantage because you’re not competing against company drivers. Also, the rates will depend upon what lane you’re in and the seasonality of the loads. I’m sure there are a lot factors that go into the rates and plenty of folks that know more than I do about this but I did stay at a Holiday Inn express last night!
