Thank goodness. I thought for a while I was going to sink the brand.
I did done learned to better steer and things since then.Tug Toy Thanks this. -
Standard term on a new truck purchase is four or five years.
Don’t know if any that do longer terms as they figure the truck will be about worn out by then. -
I bought my first truck within the last year. Call and secure your own financing before going to a dealership. The dealer will mark up the financing a 1-2 %. I made that mistake. My truck was $60,000 I put $10,000 down. Plus I paid $8500 at time of sale for a 3party warranty. ( to early to tell yet if that was a mistake ) So I financed $50,000 at 10% interest with good credit. My lender is Transportation Alliance Bank in Ogden, Utah. Give them a ring and see what they can do for you.Tug Toy, Mooseontheloose and blairandgretchen Thank this.

If you don’t mind me asking, based on previous posts in this thread, for how many years did you finance this 60k truck, I’m trying to learn as much as I can and your 60k number sounds more like my neighborhood. Thanks for providing the informative info.

Did the first truck last very long? Are you running 2 trucks. Based on your experience would you do it again or would you have been better off financing a more expensive truck and saving on repairs and downtime?
-
Lasted 2 years - and was prepared to run it 2 or 3 more, but I found the large car, and could afford it.
I think I’d do it the same again. I spent a lot on it, but all planned maintenance - never on a hook, and NEVER at a dealer.Mooseontheloose and Tug Toy Thank this. -
